ROMAC, a name synonymous with professional building maintenance, quality service and sound management in the commercial and industrial community, was derived from the surnames of spouses Renato G. Romero and Agnes C. Macam. It was established in September 1980 as a single proprietorship enterprise.
Its initial venture started with a few awards of small contracts by the 13th Air Force Contracting Center of Clark Air Base. ROMAC’s services included the repair of various equipment used by different agencies of the US government then commissioned in the base. This time, its services expanded to include the repair and maintenance of audio visual equipment of the military forces and their dependent schools, tape recorders used in the F-4 fighter jets, operation and maintenance of US Government facilities like the sewage treatment plant, base water plant, air conditioning facilities and even the tidying of the military offices and civilian housings.
