Job Description:

  • Secures and submits application forms and checklists needed for the procurement of the applicable clearances, licenses and permits, including the following activities:
    • Obtains the corresponding forms and checklists from various government
      departments, offices & agencies,LGUs
    • Fills up and completes the information needed with accuracy and clarity
      and without any misrepresentation
    • Completes the necessary documents and other papers forming part of permits
      acquisition
    • Gathers the necessary information and requirements from the other
      departments, i.e., building plans and specifications, specific details of
      the facility, accounting data and records, etc.
    • Assists and guides the dealers in the securing, filling up, submitting and
      receiving documents in connection with their permit acquisition
      responsibilities, including but not limited to business permits (BPLO),
      business name registration (DTI), tax registration (BIR).
  • Acts as representative and/or liaison during the entire permits acquisition process in its various stages from application, review, issuance, amendment, renewal up to its eventual cancellation 
    • Tracks and follows up the status of submitted applications for various permits
    • Initiates meetings with officials from government agencies, offices and
      local government units (LGU’s) for the resolution of issues in permit
      acquisition
    • Coordinates with government agencies, offices and local government units
      (LGU’s) for the inspection or survey of station and depot sites
    • Undertakes and actively pursues the recommended actions to address
      problems and resolve issues in permits acquisition
    • Prepares and submits his/her individual travel itinerary, daily output and
      specific accomplishments in a detailed manner to form part of the permits
      acquisition monitoring system
  • Makes the direct and actual payments to duly authorized officials of the various fees and charges for clearances, licenses, permits, and other regulatory requirements in a timely manner and on a regular basis for continued compliance and to avoid interest charges, penalties and surcharges.
    • Makes the direct and actual payments for new utility or service
      connections in a prompt manner in order that the corresponding utility
      services are made available prior to start up.
    • Prepares the various documents in support of the payment of obligations
      such as order of payment, basis for payment, acknowledgment receipts,
      summary of expenses, etc.
  • Undertakes the connection of utility services (power, water, telecommunications, etc) for depots, stations and other facilities.
  • Monitors and continuously updates the status of permits acquisition, including the remaining effectivity and subsequent renewals thereof in consonance with the Permit Calendar
  •  Performs other related functions as may be assigned from time to time

              



Qualification:
  • Must be a graduate of either Political Science or Legal
  • Management
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in permits acquisition from different government units, both national and local
  • Knowledgeable in law
  • Must possess good oral and written communication skills, both in English and Filipino
  • Willing to do fieldwork
  • Willing to be assigned in Iloilo
  • Can start ASAP
